Product details

The "flame retardant and fire-resistant wire and cable with flexible fire insulation layer" independently developed by the Group in 2009 was awarded the exclusive patent certificate of invention by the China National Intellectual Property Administration in 2013. Since its comprehensive promotion and market launch in 2013, this product has received unanimous praise from a wide range of users.

Purpose:
  1. Power supply for fire-fighting equipment and fire-resistant elevators in various types of buildings;
  2. Power supply for equipment and lighting systems in important buildings or densely populated buildings, such as conference centers, exhibition centers, hotels, airports, hospitals, shopping centers, parking lots, and other urban complexes;
  3. Power supply for equipment in places with high ambient temperatures, such as steel mills, smelters, glass factories, etc;
  4. Important flammable and explosive occasions, such as power supply for equipment in buildings such as petrochemicals and coal mines;
  5. Places that require special cleanliness and hygiene, such as hospitals, food factories, and other equipment power supply;
  6. Power supply for important military, defense, aerospace, and satellite base equipment;
  7. Power supply for important equipment in power plants and nuclear power plants;
  8. Power supply for modern rail transit lines, such as subways, high-speed trains, light rails, etc.

Main features and advantages:
  1. Flexibility: Due to the mature twisting technology used for the conductor of the cable, the sheath is made of copper soft sheath processed by special technology, which has the characteristics of resistance to mechanical impact and flexible bending, and can avoid the problems of wiring terminals and delivery length often encountered in the design and installation of rigid mineral insulated cable BTTZ.
  2. Fire prevention: Due to the use of copper material for both the conductor and sheath, with a melting point of 1080 ℃, and the use of minerals with a melting point of 1375 ℃ or higher for insulation and other auxiliary materials, the products can meet the requirements of GB12666.6 and BS6387 standards.
  3. Low smoke: Conduct smoke emission test according to IEC1034, and determine the smoke density of cables and optical cables burned under specific conditions according to GB/T17651.2-1998. The test shows a transmittance of over 80% (standard is 60%).
  4. Halogen free: Due to the use of inorganic materials for insulation and sheath of mineral cables, there is no usual PVC material, so even under fire conditions, no acidic gases are produced. According to the GB/T17650.2-1998 test on the release of gas during combustion of materials taken from cables, the pH value can reach 5.0 or above (standard requirement is ≥ 4.3), and the conductivity can reach around 1.0 (standard requirement is ≤ 10.0).
  5. Temperature resistance: The cable can work for a long time at an ambient temperature of 125 ℃, replacing low smoke halogen-free flame-retardant cables that can withstand temperatures of 125 ℃. It can also work for a short period of time at 1080 ℃ in emergency situations.
  6. Corrosion resistance: The cable insulation is made of inorganic mineral materials and can be laid without any additional measures.
  7. High current carrying capacity: Compared to cables with the same cross-section, the main reason for cable overload and short circuit is usually due to insulation. When overloaded, the conductor is prone to heating up, and the insulation heats up and ages, causing a short circuit. The insulation of mineral insulated fire-resistant cables uses mineral materials with a melting point of 1375 ℃, which can suppress aging or not age in the short term. Therefore, to a certain extent, they can transmit higher currents and withstand larger overloads.
  8. High mechanical strength: YTTW (BTTE)/NG-A, BTLY (BTLE) copper, aluminum and other metal sheathed mineral insulated fire-resistant cable sheaths are made of metal materials with high melting points and high resistance to mechanical impact under fire conditions. BBTRZ non-metallic flexible isolation fireproof cable, due to the special material of its isolation layer, produces a honeycomb like hard structure inside the isolation layer under combustion conditions, and can effectively resist external mechanical impact.
  9. Customizable length: As this product series consists of flexible mineral insulated fire-resistant cables that can be bent into coils and packaged in cable reels, this essentially determines the infinite manufacturing length. Therefore, the factory can supply according to the design length requirements provided by the customer during manufacturing.
  10. Stable insulation performance: Due to the infinite length of the product, there is no need to consider the joints caused by insufficient length during installation. The fewer joints, the higher the insulation performance and the less likely it is to be affected by moisture. Traditional BTTZ connectors are prone to moisture.
